We separate California company records, customer-held originals, California-notarized documents, and records that require another issuing office.

If physical delivery is needed, we confirm where it should go. A FedEx label may be provided for an accepted document route.

Document count and eligibility often differ from the first description, so final scope and payment instructions usually follow receipt and review.

California is not the Wyoming company-record model. The first question is what official or notarial signature the document carries and whether the correct paper is already available.
Qualifying California business records may start online.
California makes many certificates of status and certified corporation, LLC, and limited-partnership records available through bizfile Online. After Notary Geek confirms the exact official product and handling route, it may obtain the record and send it to the California operator for print preparation and presentation.
This is a Notary Geek operating process reviewed record by record. Official online availability alone does not prove that a printed record is acceptable for apostille or that the foreign recipient will accept it.
Most other documents start with what you already have.
Send the document facts first. During follow-up, we provide instructions for sending a scan or photo before shipment. California says a mail request needs the document signed by a California public official or an original notarized or certified document; a photocopy is not acceptable.
If the document appears to fit, ship the original or proper certified copy after receiving handling instructions.
The notary state controls the authentication route.
A California-notarized document may fit California handling after the notarial certificate and original are reviewed. If a signer-created document instead uses a Florida online notary, its authentication route follows Florida when that route is legally and operationally appropriate.
Florida notarization is an integrated option, not a shortcut that converts every document into a California apostille.
Initial-offer boundary
Court pickup and restricted-record retrieval are not part of this launch.
Court records come from the court where the case was filed, and confidential records may require proof of access. The initial California offer does not promise courthouse retrieval, access to sealed or confidential matters, or pickup from another issuing office.
If you already have a certified court record, send the document facts first. We provide scan-review instructions during follow-up. Do not ship or pay until the document and access boundary are clear.

In-state presentation when the route fits
A California operator can present eligible documents in person. The state reports that in-person submissions are typically processed after submission, but that official counter timing is not a promise for the complete Notary Geek service.
FedEx label after acceptance
Customers may ship originals or certified documents to Notary Geek. A FedEx label can be provided when the reviewed route and destination are confirmed.
Direct DHL or FedEx shipping
Notary Geek works directly with DHL and FedEx through its own carrier accounts rather than a third-party shipping reseller. We select the carrier according to the reviewed route and cost. Availability, destination restrictions, address quality, and remote-area costs are checked before return shipping is promised.
